KSrelief and UN Envoy Discuss Humanitarian Efforts in Sudan

Riyadh: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief)'s Head of the Health and Environmental Aid Department Dr. Abdullah Al Moallem met today in Riyadh with the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Sudan, Pekka Haavisto. The meeting focused on exploring avenues to enhance collaboration between KSrelief and the United Nations in addressing the humanitarian crisis in Sudan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions underscored the urgent need for joint efforts to provide essential living requirements for vulnerable groups in Sudan. The meeting highlighted the importance of coordinated actions to effectively address the dire humanitarian situation facing the Sudanese population.

During the engagement, Pekka Haavisto expressed his appreciation for the humanitarian projects spearheaded by the Kingdom through its aid agency, KSrelief. He commended the center's relentless efforts to alleviate the suffering of those in need, not only in Sudan but across various affected regions worldwide. Haavisto's acknowledgment of KSrelief's contributions underscores the vital role played by the center in global humanitarian efforts.
