KSGAAL Leverages Technology to Celebrate National Day and Promote Arabic Language

General

Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) celebrated the 95th National Day by launching dedicated national content in its "voice wall" tool, part of the Linguistic Corpus Platform (FALAK). This initiative underscores the academy's commitment to leveraging modern technology to promote the Arabic language and enhance community engagement with national and linguistic occasions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this new audio tool allows the public to express feelings of pride and belonging to the homeland by recording messages filled with patriotism, either by answering linguistic questions or reading texts related to the occasion. These recordings form a collective sound mural that embodies the spirit of national unity while contributing to a diverse voice data collection that supports linguistic research and applications. It analyzes pronunciation and voice interaction patterns, enhancing voice-based language processing technologies, such as speech recognition and improved Arabic speech models.

The initiative aims to encourage community participation in enriching Arabic audio content, highlighting the diversity of Arabic voices and dialects in an interactive context. It fosters a collective experience that demonstrates the value of voice as a means of expression and communication.

This tool extends KSGAAL's initiatives to achieve global leadership in Arabic linguistic corpora and dictionaries. It offers advanced capabilities for collecting and analyzing voice data to support artificial intelligence and modern linguistic applications.

KSGAAL invites the public to engage with this initiative to contribute to enriching Arabic digital content, support linguistic research, and promote the use of Arabic in modern technologies.
