Riyadh: The King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language (KSGAAL) announced the opening of submissions for its fifth international annual conference, titled 'Arabic Language and Culture: Intersections and Dimensions.' The academy invited researchers, academics, specialists, and those interested in linguistic and cultural studies to submit scholarly papers in line with the conference's announced themes.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference aims to examine the intersections between the Arabic language and culture and explore how this interaction is reflected in identity, collective memory, and cognitive and artistic creativity. It will also address the role of Arabic in global civilizational interaction, issues related to digital culture, linguistic and cultural policies, and future prospects for the Arabic language within contemporary and emerging cultural landscapes.
Initial acceptance of submissions will be announced on April 1, while the final deadline for submitting complete research papers is May 30. Final acceptance of papers will be announced on August 1.
The conference is scheduled to be held during the fourth quarter of 2026.
