Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Project for Utilization of Hady and Adahi has announced its full operational readiness for the Hajj season 1446 AH, with its seven sacrificial animal complexes spanning over one million square meters and boasting an operational capacity to process more than one million animals within 84 hours.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this massive operation is supported by 25,000 specialized personnel from various countries, including 600 Islamic specialists, over 500 veterinarians, 16,500 butchers and assistant butchers, and 400 technicians.

This season marks a significant technological leap with an operational system that integrates smart technologies, including an AI-based slaughter counting system, automated weighing for Islamic compliance, and a new meat tracking system to monitor distribution to beneficiaries. Additionally, improved sterilization and unified protocols ensure the highest health and safety standards.

The project is designed to process sacrifices at an estimated rate of one every seven seconds, efficiently meeting the enormous seasonal demand. So far, 770,000 livestock have been received, exceeding the target of 750,000, with continuous transportation from supplier farms.

Distribution efforts focus on the Makkah Region during Hajj, expanding post-season to cover all regions of the Kingdom and some 27 countries internationally.

Embracing digital trends, the project also offers convenient purchase of sacrificial bonds through its three-language website, ensuring ease and security for pilgrims of diverse nationalities.

The core objective remains to expand the distribution network to ensure that sacrificial meat reaches the largest possible number of beneficiaries globally, supported by robust operational expertise and modern technologies.
