King Saud University Hosts 2025 Critical Care Conference with International Experts

Riyadh: King Saud University (KSU) inaugurated the 2025 NextGen Critical Care Conference under the theme "Intensive Care for the Next Generation," organized by the Department of Intensive Care Medicine at the University Medical City in collaboration with the College of Medicine. KSU Vice President for Educational and Academic Affairs Dr. Nasser Al-Daghri inaugurated the conference on behalf of Acting University President Dr. Abdullah Alsalman.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Dr. Bandar Al-Jafan, and the Executive Director of Health Affairs at the University Medical City, Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Thunayan, along with several experts and specialists from Saudi Arabia and Canada. The conference aims to showcase the latest advancements and technologies in intensive care.

The Chairman of the Intensive Care Department at University Medical City and Chairman of the Conference, Dr. Mohammed Alarifi, said the event seeks to enhance knowledge and innovation in critical care. He noted that the conference is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties with seven educational hours, making it a valuable opportunity for skill development and exposure to the latest medical practices in intensive care.
