King Salman Reserve’s Hiking Trails Earn International Recognition

Riyadh:King Salman Reserve The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority has reached a significant milestone by securing international accreditation for 10 hiking trails. This marks the first time trails in Saudi Arabia have received such recognition, enhancing the Kingdom's reputation in adventure tourism and ecotourism.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Climbing and Hiking Federation awarded the accreditation following comprehensive assessments. The trails were evaluated against internationally recognized standards, ensuring they provide a safe environment for mountain hiking and nature exploration.

This accomplishment bolsters the reserve's status as a premier ecotourism and adventure destination. It also reflects ongoing efforts to improve infrastructure in alignment with national objectives to enhance quality of life and promote sustainable tourism.
