Riyadh: The King Salman bin Abdulaziz Royal Reserve Development Authority launched an awareness campaign yesterday to highlight the importance of conserving biodiversity and enhancing vegetation, aiming to inspire the community to adopt environmentally conscious practices as part of their daily lives.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the campaign promotes environmental stewardship as a lifestyle and a path toward a more balanced and sustainable future. It builds on earlier initiatives that engaged male and female volunteers of all ages in cleaning natural habitats, removing harmful waste, dispersing seeds via drones, and planting seedlings across various locations.
This effort is part of the authority's broader efforts to preserve biodiversity, raise environmental awareness, and actively engage the local community in sustaining vegetation and protecting the natural environment.
