King Salman International Airport Wraps Up Successful Participation at Dubai Airshow 2025

Dubai: King Salman International Airport (KSIA) concluded its participation in the Dubai Airshow 2025, a prominent aviation and aerospace event held from November 17 to 21 at Al Maktoum International Airport. The event gathered senior industry figures from around the world.

According to Saudi Press Agency, KSIA used the platform to present its strategic vision for developing a new model for future airports. This initiative aims to strengthen Saudi Arabia's position as a global hub for aviation and logistics, in alignment with Vision 2030. The airport also showcased the KSIA Master Plan and gave a preview of Terminal 6, a key facility in its future development.

Acting CEO of KSIA, Marco Mejia, emphasized the significance of their participation, stating, "Our participation at the Dubai Airshow underscores the Kingdom's pioneering of future air transport and our progress towards establishing KSIA as a global benchmark for sustainability and innovation." He expressed pride in being part of a prestigious event that gathers global aviation leaders.

The KSIA booth attracted considerable attention due to its sustainable design, advanced construction practices, and resource-efficient materials. It received an official nomination for the Better Stands Gold Award, a notable recognition within the exhibition sector.

Visitors to KSIA's booth experienced an immersive journey reflecting the stages of travel, including arrival, boarding, and takeoff, culminating in a simulated airport departure experience.

Key leaders from KSIA participated in several sessions at the event. Chief Strategic Management Officer Sanjay Khanna contributed to the panel "Aviation 2025 and Beyond," where he shared insights on the future of aviation and Saudi Arabia's crucial role in shaping the upcoming decade of air travel.

Additionally, KSIA conducted strategic meetings with leading companies in airport design, operations, clean-energy solutions, and sustainable airside management. These discussions aimed to enhance knowledge exchange and accelerate the adoption of advanced technologies in Saudi Arabia.
