Riyadh: The King Khalid Foundation has opened registration for the fourth edition of its green grants for nonprofit organizations across the Kingdom, accepting applications on its website until August 9. The grant supports the Kingdom's goals of diversifying the economy, promoting green investment, and empowering the nonprofit sector, all within the framework of Saudi Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative seeks to raise awareness of the green economy and encourage sustainable development within the nonprofit sector. It provides financial support for nonprofit organizations and institutions to implement projects and initiatives that enable lower-income individuals to acquire vocational, craft, and professional skills. This, in turn, allows them to access green opportunities that improve their living standards.
Green grants support jobs, small projects, and entrepreneurial ventures in environmentally friendly sectors that promote preservation and mitigate negative impacts.
