King Faisal University Showcases ‘KFU 2025 Car’ at Shell Eco-Marathon in Qatar

Riyadh: King Faisal University, represented by the College of Engineering team, is participating in the Shell Eco-Marathon International Competition, hosted by Qatar from February 9 to 13, with an innovative electric vehicle named "KFU 2025 Car."

According to Saudi Press Agency, College of Engineering dean Dr. Adel Aldalbahi emphasized that the mechanical and electrical design and manufacturing of the "KFU 2025 Car" was entirely carried out by students under the supervision of a distinguished group of faculty members. He noted that the team worked to enhance the vehicle's energy efficiency by improving aerodynamics and reducing weight, making it highly competitive in the race.

The Shell Eco-Marathon is one of the world's most prominent platforms promoting innovation in energy-efficient vehicle design among university students. The competition attracts teams from around the globe, offering participants the opportunity to exchange expertise and explore the latest advancements in sustainable automotive technology.
