King Fahad Library, SDAIA Partner to Drive Digital Innovation in Cultural Preservation

Riyadh: Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the King Fahad National Library Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz emphasized the library's commitment to keeping pace with technological advancements and digital transformation, while continuing its vital role in preserving manuscripts, rare books, and historical collectibles. He emphasized that this balanced approach enhances access to the library's content and services for beneficiaries both within and beyond the Kingdom, positioning it as a model of the library of the future.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this statement was made during his visit to the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) headquarters, where he was briefed on the authority's key initiatives and achievements in data and AI, as well as the significant strides made in empowering national institutions to accelerate digital transformation toward a knowledge-based society.

During the visit, Prince Faisal also attended the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the library and SDAIA to strengthen cooperation in data and AI.

The agreement aims to enable the library to leverage SDAIA's expertise in data analysis, predictive modeling, and research. It also includes the development and support of joint initiatives in AI and innovation, as well as specialized training programs in data management and protection, events and training camps, and digital entrepreneurship and innovation.
