The King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz University Hospital (KAAUH) at the Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University has been awarded the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certificate by the U.S. Green Building Council. The KAAUH obtained this certificate in recognition of its outstanding efforts in meeting the required criteria in the gold category. The hospital has implemented concrete initiatives to improve the efficiency of its facilities by using sustainable construction materials, implementing energy management systems, optimizing water use, and ensuring a healthy interior environment for patients and staff.
