Riyadh: The King Abdullah International Medical Research Center (KAIMRC), in cooperation with the Ministry of Investment and J.P. Morgan, is set to organize a forum on life sciences innovation from October 1 to 2, 2025, at the conference center of King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the two-day forum, organized under the auspices of the Ministry of National Guard through its research arm, KAIMRC, aims to enhance the Kingdom's position as a global hub in the medical biotechnology and innovation sector. It will advance research development and connect entrepreneurs from around the world with local investors, leading national institutions, and private entities. It also seeks to open new horizons for cooperation in the development of innovative drugs, clinical trials, and biomanufacturing.
The forum will host 10 distinguished international medium and emerging companies seeking to expand their research and develop innovative therapeutic solutions for priority diseases in the Kingdom, in particular, and the broader Middle East region.
The program will feature prominent speakers from the health, biotechnology, and investment sectors, along with specialized workshops, networking sessions between participants and investors, and closed sessions to support the establishment of local startups.
This initiative is part of national efforts to achieve the goals of the National Biotechnology Strategy and the Saudi Vision 2030, supporting localization, transferring medical biotechnology, and creating job opportunities in a vital sector that contributes to diversifying the national economy.
