Amman: King Abdullah II of Jordan has condemned the recent aggression against Qatar, labeling it as a violation of international law and a potential trigger for further conflict in the region. In his address at the emergency Arab-Islamic summit, the King urged Arab and Islamic countries to reassess their collective strategies to address the threats posed by the Israeli government.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, King Abdullah II highlighted the Israeli attack on Qatar as evidence that the threat from Israel is limitless. He called for a clear, decisive, and deterrent response to this aggression. The King expressed his condolences to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of Qatar, and the people of Qatar for the loss of lives resulting from the Israeli actions. He affirmed Jordan’s support for Qatar by stating that any measures taken to counter the aggression and ensure the security and stability of Qatar would be backed by Jordan.
King Abdullah II emphasized that Qatar's security and stability are intrinsically linked to that of Jordan, pledging unwavering support to Qatar in facing this crisis.
