King Abdulaziz Library Showcases Initiatives at World Library Congress in Kazakhstan

Astana: The King Abdulaziz Public Library is participating in the 89th World Library and Information Congress, organized by the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions (IFLA), which is being held from August 18 to 22 in Astana, Kazakhstan.

According to Saudi Press Agency, as part of the accompanying exhibition, the library is showcasing a selection of its publications and highlighting its cultural and knowledge programs, key projects and initiatives, and services related to cultural heritage. It is also presenting its work in publishing, indexing, and translation into global languages, along with its international translation award, and expertise in digital transformation.

The library's participation underscores its commitment to promoting sustainable cultural development and shaping a forward-looking cultural future for coming generations, in line with its role as a member of IFLA.
