Madinah: As part of the cultural programs organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, 179 participants from 128 countries in the 45th King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Holy Quran Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation visited the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex in Madinah.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the contestants toured the complex's facilities and production lines, receiving a detailed explanation from officials about the printing stages and operational processes. They were also presented with a data-supported overview of the complex's achievements, including the annual production of over 20 million copies of the Holy Quran and translations of its meanings into more than 75 languages distributed worldwide. This reflects the Kingdom's and its wise leadership's care for the Holy Quran.
The participants expressed their gratitude to the complex for its continuous efforts in printing, translating, and distributing the Holy Quran in various languages. They also commended the ministry's role in spreading the Holy Quran through multiple means, emphasizing that the copies printed by the complex are the most trusted reference for Muslims worldwide and a prominent symbol of the Kingdom's mission in serving the Holy Quran.
At the end of the tour, the ministry, represented by the complex, presented the contestants and their companions with copies of the Holy Quran and simplified interpretations in several languages as gifts. Commemorative photos were also taken to mark the occasion.
