Mina: Kidana Development Company, the main developer of the holy sites, opened a new emergency hospital in Mina with a capacity of more than 180 beds, located next to the existing Mina Emergency Hospital.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the hospital was built in less than 30 days in cooperation with the Ministry of Health to enhance emergency healthcare during the 1446 H Hajj season. The project aims to improve medical readiness and support the health care system at the holy sites, following the highest medical standards.
The facility occupies a strategic location overlooking Al-Rabita Street and is connected to King Abdulaziz Road by a modern bridge and elevators to enable rapid emergency response. It includes integrated medical amenities, specialized emergency and heat stress sections, isolation and resuscitation rooms, radiology, a medical lab, inpatient wards, and staff rooms.
The project is expected to increase capacity for critical cases and improve the delivery of urgent medical care during Hajj.
