KFSHRC Inaugurates New Academic and Training Center with 200% Increase in Capacity

King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre (KFSHRC) inaugurated the new Academic and Training Center, aiming to expand its capacity by more than 200% to meet the growing demand for high-quality medical education and training in Saudi Arabia and the region. The new center accommodates 185 participants, marking a capacity increase of 200%. The capacity of computer labs was increased by nearly 90%, creating more opportunities for interactive learning and the acquisition of technical skills. Additionally, the capacity of life support training rooms doubled, now able to accommodate 209 participants for emergency and immediate care training. The center features an executive management education hall, designed for workshops and training programs aimed at developing the strategic leadership skills of healthcare professionals. It utilizes an electronic registration system and an integrated map for easy access to services, enhancing the learning experience and improving trainee efficiency. The increased capacity of the Academic and Training Center reflects KFSHRC's commitment to providing a comprehensive and flexible learning environment that allows more participants to benefit from its various educational programs and advanced training curricula, leveraging innovative technologies to improve output quality and supply qualified medical professionals to the medical sector in the Kingdom and globally. KFSHRC was ranked first in the Middle East and Africa and 20th globally in the list of the world's top 250 Academic Medical Centers for the second consecutive year and recognized as the most valuable healthcare brand in the Kingdom and the Middle East, according to the 2024 Brand Finance rankings.
