Riyadh: The King Fahad National Library (KFNL) and the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) signed a memorandum of understanding in the fields of knowledge and publishing, aimed at developing and building capacities, exchanging expertise, information, research, and studies, and enriching knowledge resources. The agreement also seeks to enhance cooperation in cultural activities of mutual interest, provide scientific support for meetings and seminars, strengthen partnerships, and support joint projects and programs between the two sides.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the memorandum was signed by KFNL Chief Executive Officer Dr. Yazeed Alhumaidan and Assistant Secretary-General for Legislative and Legal Affairs at the General Secretariat of the GCC Consultant Sultan bin Nasser Al-Suwaidi.
