Kahraba shines in Al Ahly’s qualification to Egypt’s Cup final

Al-Ahly football club qualified for Egypt’s Cup final, after achieving a 3-1 victory over Smouha, during the match that brought them together on Tuesday evening, at Cairo International Stadium in the semi-finals of the Egypt Cup.

Al-Ahly goals came through Ahmed Abdel-Qader, Hussein Al-Shahat and Kahraba, while Hossam Hassan scored Smouha’s goal from a penalty kick.

The match witnessed the brilliance of Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim Kahraba, who returned to participation with Al-Ahly after an absence period that lasted about 15 months as he was suspended by FIFA. Before that, he was on a 6-month loan in the Turkish League.

Kahraba provided two assists to Abdel-Qader & Hamdy Fathy before he scored the third goal for the red devils.

Al-Ahly sets a date with Pyramids in the Egyptian Cup final, after beating Zamalek in Egypt’s Cup semi-finals with a penalty shootout.

Smouha match also witnessed the participation of Al-Ahly’s new deals, Marawan Attia, Mohamed El-Dawy “Cristo” and Khaled Abdel-Fattah for the first time, after contracting with them this January.
