Riyadh: The judging committee of the final qualifying rounds of the 45th King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Holy Quran Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation: organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance-continued evaluating participants on the fifth day, listening to the recitations of 27 contestants. This brings the total number of contestants assessed since the start of the qualifiers to 99.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the committee listened to recitations from contestants from Mauritania, the Philippines, Japan, Guinea-Bissau, France, the United States, New Zealand, South Africa, Barbados, C´te d'Ivoire, Cameroon, Guinea, Germany, Zambia, Guyana, Comoros, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Finland, Rwanda, Bangladesh, and Myanmar.
