Amman: President of the Jordanian Senate Faisal Al-Fayez has met with Saudi Ambassador to Jordan Naif Al-Sudairi at the conclusion of his tenure in Jordan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Fayez commended the strong bilateral relations and the commitment of both Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and King Abdullah II of Jordan to continually strengthening and expanding the ties between their nations.
He also expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia's unwavering support in resolving the Palestinian issue based on international legitimacy, resolutions, and the two-state solution, with the goal of establishing an independent Palestinian state with Jerusalem as its capital.
Al-Sudairi thanked Jordanian officials for their cooperation during his tenure, which he credited with facilitating his mission to bolster Saudi-Jordanian relations across all levels and sectors.
