Momani added that Jordanian diplomacy used the word "war" when the matter was related to displacement, as Jordan's position was clear about its complete rejection of the forced displacement of the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip because it is against international law and against international humanitarian law, and is a blatant violation of the rights of the Palestinian people, and an assault on the interests of neighboring countries. He added,"We are in a state of great regional challenge, and the Palestinian people are holding on to their land, as the Arab and Islamic powers realize that the Palestinian people must achieve their rights on their land, and that this is an integral part of the engagement process with all the tools of the Jordanian state to keep the Palestinian people on their land and support their self-determination, the core of which is the establishment of the Palestinian state on the pre-June 4, 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital, as stipulated by resolutio ns of international legitimacy," stressing that there is no alternative to the two-state solution, which is a supreme interest for the Arab nation and the region as a whole. Momani explained that "we are living in a critical regional situation and witnessing protracted conflicts that have extended consequences that have the potential to spread to the entire region and enter into a conflict that Jordan has always warned against, as the Kingdom has condemned various Israeli behaviors that would expand the scope of the war," stressing that Jordan seeks to achieve regional security and stability because it is linked to its supreme interests and to its ability to help the Palestinian people and support them in achieving their rights. Momani underlined that the Jordanian narrative has great persuasive power, as it emphasized to the whole world that this aggression against the Palestinian people and the policy of assassination will not bring security and stability to the region and the whole world, and that the on ly solution is to give the Palestinian people their right to self-determination and establish their own state.
