Amman: Jordan has expressed its approval of the recent findings released by the United Nations Independent International Commission of Inquiry, which accuse Israeli occupation forces of committing genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity in the Gaza Strip.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates has welcomed the conclusions of the report. Ministry spokesman Fuad al-Majali stated that the report provides clear evidence of the Israeli authorities committing genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. The report details actions such as deliberate killings, using starvation as a weapon, targeting civilian infrastructure, displacing residents, and imposing living conditions intended to destroy the Palestinian population either completely or partially.
Al-Majali emphasized that the report underlines the necessity for the Israeli government to immediately fulfill its legal obligations and cease its violations and crimes in the Gaza Strip.
