Jeddah to Host Middle East Endocrine, Diabetes & Obesity Congress

Jeddah: Jeddah will host the Middle East Endocrine, Diabetes and Obesity Congress (MEDOC 2026) from January 28 to 31. The regional scientific platform will bring together clinical and research experts to promote the adoption of best practices in metabolic disease care and enhance healthcare system readiness with a focus on prevention, early diagnosis, and integrated care. The official opening will take place on January 29.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the head of the scientific sessions, Dr. Saud Nafaa Al-Sifri, stated that the conference is chaired by Saudi Scientific Society for Diabetes president Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Sheikh and will feature 90 speakers and panelists from inside and outside the Kingdom. Participants will present 65 advanced research papers covering endocrinology, diabetes, obesity, and diabetes technologies, alongside interactive sessions and applied discussions.

The conference aims to support continuing medical education, facilitate the exchange of expertise, and provide a professional platform that brings together specialists, decision-makers, and researchers to translate knowledge into tangible improvements in daily practice and quality of care.
