Jeddah: Jeddah Municipality today announced the city's official membership in the global Quality of Life Initiative, implemented by the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) with support from the Quality of Life Program Center in the Kingdom. The strategic step aims to accurately and regularly measure residents' quality of life in Jeddah, facilitate the exchange of knowledge, solutions, and innovative practices with other member cities worldwide, and enhance urban policies that make Jeddah a more inclusive and sustainable city.
According to Saudi Press Agency, through the initiative, the municipality seeks to strengthen integration with relevant entities to help improve the living, social, and economic environment across Jeddah's neighborhoods, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
As part of the initiative's launch, Jeddah Municipality invited all residents, including citizens and expatriates, to participate by completing a dedicated digital survey to evaluate their living experiences, assess safety levels and the availability and quality of local services, and measure the extent of their connection to their communities.
The survey is available through Jeddah Municipality's dedicated online platform.
