Jeddah Governor Opens International AI and IoT Innovation Conference

Jeddah: Under the patronage of Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Jeddah Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi inaugurated today the International Conference on Innovation in Artificial Intelligence and Internet of Things. Organized by the University of Jeddah, the two-day event is being held at the university's conference center.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference features an accompanying exhibition showcasing research innovations, with 800 researchers from 30 countries presenting over 300 scientific papers.

In a statement, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Development at the University of Jeddah and conference president Dr. Manaji Al-Kenani emphasized the conference's goal of driving digital transformation, supporting Vision 2030, and fostering collaboration between industry professionals and academia.

The conference covers themes relevant to AI, IoT, robotics, cybersecurity, and digital innovation, targeting researchers, academics, students, policymakers, and professionals.

This event demonstrates the university's dedication to advancing research and innovation, reinforcing its academic position in supporting technological and knowledge development in line with the Kingdom's sustainable digital transformation goals.
