Jeddah Governor Inspects Jeddah Islamic Port in Preparation for Pilgrims’ Arrival

Jeddah: Governor of Jeddah Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi today inspected Jeddah Islamic Port to assess the progress of work and the services being provided to pilgrims. He was briefed on the plans and initiatives of the Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) aimed at streamlining pilgrim arrivals and ensuring a smooth experience.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the governor toured the arrival and departure terminals, where representatives from various government agencies presented updates on key services. These services include 100 passport counters to assist pilgrims equipped with both human and technical resources, 300 vehicles for transporting passengers' luggage, a health monitoring center providing essential vaccinations and medical care, as well as specialized equipment to support the elderly and those with health conditions.
