Jazan University Secures Three Medals at Geneva Invention Exhibition

Jazan: Jazan University has achieved a significant milestone by winning three international medals at the 51st Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions in 2026, a leading platform for innovation and scientific research.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the university was awarded a gold medal with honors for the innovation titled "Improving the Accuracy of Pharmaceutical Tablet Splitting Using 3D Printing Technology," presented by a team from its College of Pharmacy.

Additionally, a silver medal was awarded for an innovative therapeutic formula for type 2 diabetes, developed by a team from the College of Pharmacy and the Health Research Center. Another silver medal went to a device designed to assist in the gradual extraction of teeth using braces.

These achievements reflect Jazan University's progress in research and innovation, highlighting its role in translating knowledge into practical solutions and contributing to Saudi Vision 2030 goals to enhance global competitiveness in education.
