Jazan Municipality Implements Intensive Ramadan Cleaning Operations

Jazan: The workforce and field machinery of Jazan Municipality continue to carry out cleaning and operational activities during the holy month of Ramadan under an intensive operational plan that takes into account increased movement in markets, walkways, and areas surrounding mosques to ensure the preservation of public cleanliness and the enhancement of municipal service efficiency around the clock. Thousands of sanitation workers and field teams perform their duties in a scene reflecting dedication and discipline.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in Jizan City and the governorates across the region, the municipality deployed 4,920 field workers for cleaning and operational tasks through continuous shifts, supported by 993 drivers to ensure swift movement and efficient waste collection, as well as 117 equipment operators operating specialized machinery as part of an ongoing operational system. The municipality provided 330 waste compactor trucks to cover neighborhoods and key locations, along with 62 support vehicles for emergencies.

Additionally, 126 road-cleaning machines and 87 mechanical street sweepers operate across main streets, waterfronts, and public squares as part of a seasonal plan to enhance operational readiness. These efforts are reflected in the region's urban landscape, as walkways, parks, and public squares welcome visitors and families in a clean and organized environment that enhances quality of life during the holy month. The work falls within the municipality's operational plan for Ramadan, focusing on strengthening field presence, organizing shifts, and monitoring performance to ensure sustainable cleanliness and the highest municipal service standards.
