Border guards in Al-Aridhah Governorate, in Jazan Region, have foiled an attempt to smuggle 350 kilograms of khat.
Preliminary legal procedures were completed and the seized narcotics were handed over to the competent authority.
Security agencies urge anyone with information related to suspected smuggling or trafficking operations to call the confidential hotline 911 in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region, and 999 in the rest of the Kingdom’s regions. They can also contact the General Directorate of Narcotics Control at 995 or through email: 995@gdnc.gov.sa.
