Janadriyah: King Abdulaziz Equestrian Racecourse in Janadriyah will host its major seasonal races on Saturday, including the annual grand event for the King Abdulaziz Founder's Cups, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cups for Category One 'Local' production, and the Open Grades race classified as a Category Three international event, all considered the season's most prestigious trophies.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the King Abdulaziz Cups bring together the top locally bred horses in both Purebred Arabian and Purebred Crossbred categories under the Category One Local classification. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Cups for local production are significant for boosting Saudi breeding standards, while the internationally classified Category Three race serves as a qualifier for the Saudi Cup. These cups are held alongside the qualifying heats for the supporting races of the Saudi Cup evening.
