Jamarat Facility in Mina Fortified with Advanced BMS Technology

Mina: The Jamarat facility in Mina is now under secure technical protection, thanks to the implementation of Building Management System (BMS) technology, which monitors the strength and integrity of its infrastructure. This system, along with SCADA (System Control and Monitoring) technologies, is employed by the Kadana Development Company to ensure the facility's robustness.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Kadana Development Company has undertaken several modern projects to enhance the Jamarat facility. These projects include the modernization and replacement of power stations, construction and rehabilitation of restrooms in the basement, replacement of warning screens at bridge and tunnel entrances, and climate control in the eastern courtyards using misting fans. These initiatives aim to improve services for pilgrims, upgrade the facility's infrastructure, and maintain its operation with the best systems.

Kadana also plays a crucial role in the logistics of pebble transportation at the Jamarat facility. After pilgrims throw pebbles, they are collected in a basin below the three Jamarat. From there, conveyors transport the pebbles to trucks stationed at the exits of the gravel conveyors. Kadana's responsibility includes ensuring proper collection and transportation of these pebbles to designated areas after the Hajj season.
