The International Society for Quality in Health Care (ISQua) has honored the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) for obtaining institutional accreditation for the third time in December 2023 and for the next four years. This came during ISQua's annual international conference held in Istanbul, Turkiye The CBAHI participated in two research papers, as the first discussed the standards of basic requirements for patient safety, the extent of commitment to them, and their impact over five years in helping and enabling all hospitals in the Kingdom from various sectors to provide safe health services. The second research paper discussed the comparison between perceptions of health facilities' and SCAHI evaluators of the impact of accreditation on raising the level of quality and safety of health services provided to patients. The CBAHI has obtained the accreditation ISQua periodically since 2012 for the books of standards for hospitals, outpatient clinics and complexes, labo ratories and blood banks, and primary health care centers, in addition to the evaluator training program and institutional accreditation.
