Islamic Values Forum Held under the Patronage of Riyadh Region Governor

Riyadh: Under the patronage of Riyadh Region Governor Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Islamic Values Forum, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in its first edition, was held on Monday evening in Riyadh.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh delivered a speech emphasizing that the forum reflects the Kingdom's commitment to its authentic values, derived from the Holy Quran and the Sunnah and rooted in the firm principles upon which the state has been established. He affirmed that these values constitute a comprehensive system of principles and standards drawn from Islamic law, guiding human behavior and conduct toward noble ethics.

He highlighted that it is a source of pride that Islamic values hold such a distinguished position under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, supported by His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The minister indicated that the leadership has given great attention to promoting values and ethics, believing that they form the solid foundation for civilizational advancement.

He also pointed out that Saudi Vision 2030 emphasizes that Islamic values and national identity are central pillars in the national transformation process, and that comprehensive development cannot be achieved without instilling values of moderation, tolerance, balance, and belonging - values rooted in Islam and firmly established within Saudi society.
