Geneva: The Islamic University of Madinah showcased a patented air ionizer for air purification at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva 2026. Representing the university's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center, Dr. Hussam Al-Harbi and Engineer Ahmed Imam presented the technology, which aims to enhance air quality and environmental protection.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the event, a high-level delegation from the Ministry of Education visited the university's pavilion, where they were briefed on the air ionizer's mechanism and its various research and application phases, commending the university for its role in empowering academic talent on the international stage.
This participation aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 by fostering a knowledge-based economy and translating scientific research into impactful social applications.
