Islamic Ministry Launches Course for Preachers, Imams in Guinea

Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the religious attach© at Saudi Embassy in Mauritania, in cooperation with Republic of Guinea General Secretariat of Religious Affairs, launched an educational course to qualify preachers and imams.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the five-day course, which began yesterday at the King Faisal Mosque in Conakry, aims to strengthen communication with imams and preachers, promote a moderate approach, protect society from doctrinal and intellectual deviations, and provide participants with fundamental competencies and preaching skills based on the Qur'an and Sunnah.
