Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, through the Religious Attach© at the Saudi Embassy in Indonesia, has announced that the launch of the final qualifiers for the national-level Holy Quran Memorization and Sunnah Competition in eastern Indonesia will take place tomorrow in Kendari. The competition has reached its final stage after preliminary qualifiers, which involved 408 contestants from 169 Islamic institutions across 60 cities and provinces in 19 regions of eastern Indonesia, with the initial rounds taking place from February 1 to 7.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the top contestants advanced to the second qualifying round from February 10 to 15, featuring 40 participants from each category competing for a place in the finals. The competition reflects the ministry’s commitment to promoting the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of the Prophet while strengthening the prominence of Quran competitions at the international level.
