Makkah: With the commencement of the final 10 days of Ramadan, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has confirmed the readiness of over 1,650 mosques and auxiliary prayer spaces in Makkah and its central area, in addition to several prayer rooms in hotels near the Grand Mosque.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry introduced these measures to accommodate worshippers during Taraweeh and Qiyam prayers and reduce congestion at the Grand Mosque.
The ministry called on worshippers and pilgrims to pray in designated mosques, prayer spaces, and rooms to alleviate overcrowding.
