Sarajevo: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the religious attach© of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Bosnia and Herzegovina, held an official ceremony yesterday to launch two programs: the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' gift to distribute dates and the Iftar initiative for those fasting during Ramadan for the year 1446 AH.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the event was held at the King Fahd Cultural Centre in Sarajevo and attended by Saudi Deputy Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ali bin Hamad Al-Dossary. The ceremony announced the distribution of 20,000 tons of dates to benefit more than 40,000 individuals.
The deputy ambassador emphasized that the gift from Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the people of Bosnia and Herzegovina represents the Kingdom's dedication to strengthening humanitarian and Islamic efforts. This gesture demonstrates the Kingdom's noble mission to serve Islam, Muslims, and humanity worldwide. He also expressed appreciation to everyone involved in implementing these programs.
