Islamic Affairs Ministry Launches Date Distribution Program in Comoros

Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance initiated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' Program to distribute dates in the Comoros. This event was held at the Saudi embassy's headquarters and was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Comoros Dr. Atallah Alzayed alongside several officials.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Ambassador Alzayed expressed appreciation for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, acknowledging their efforts in serving Islam and Muslims.

A total of five tons of dates have been allocated for distribution in the Comoros, reaching approximately 20,000 individuals. The dates are set to be distributed to charities, orphan associations, schools, and mosques across the region.
