Aseer: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, through the General Secretariat for Islamic Awareness in Hajj, Umrah and Visitation, has intensified its guidance programs in hotel prayer rooms surrounding the Grand Mosque. The initiative forms part of the second phase of the secretariat's awareness plan for the 1447 AH Umrah season, coinciding with the holy month of Ramadan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the programs aim to help pilgrims perform their rituals with a sound understanding, in accordance with the Holy Quran and the Sunnah. A selected group of preachers and translators delivers lessons and guidance in several international languages following prayers.
Services include daily step-by-step explanations of Umrah rituals, faith-based sermons tailored to Ramadan, responses to pilgrims' inquiries on acts of worship and ritual rulings, and lectures highlighting the virtues of Makkah and the multiplied rewards associated with good deeds performed there.
The initiative reflects the integration of field services and modern technological tools within the ministry's operations, reinforcing the Kingdom's efforts to serve pilgrims during Ramadan while promoting moderation, balanced religious understanding, and the core values of Islam in the holiest of places.
