Islamic Affairs Ministry Enhances Moderation Awareness among Scholarship Students

Madinah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance organized a two-day training program on moderation and tolerance at Taibah University in Madinah, targeting scholarship students at Saudi universities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program focused on presenting Islam and its principles in a contemporary and balanced manner, promoting sound Islamic creed. It also addressed the dangers of extremism, highlighted Saudi Arabia's approach to promoting moderation, and underscored its efforts in serving Islam and Muslims and strengthening Islamic solidarity.

In addition, the program addressed Islamic perspectives on contemporary issues and strengthened dawah communication skills for non-Arabic speakers, while taking into account the participants' diverse cultural backgrounds.

This initiative forms part of the ministry's international efforts to promote moderation, reflect the Kingdom's leading role in spreading tolerant Islamic values, enhancing intellectual security, and combating extremism in all its forms.
