Islamic Affairs Ministry Distributes Over 2.5 Million Holy Quran Copies to Departing Pilgrims

Makkah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance began today the second day of Tashreeq distributing gifts of copies of the Holy Quran from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to pilgrims opting for early departure as they depart through land and sea ports and airports.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the number of copies allocated for distribution this year amounts to 2,521,380. These copies of the Holy Quran are published by the King Fahd Complex for Printing of the Holy Quran in Madinah. They come in various sizes and include translations of their meanings in several international languages, ensuring that this blessed gift reaches all nationalities.

These efforts reflect the care and attention of the wise leadership for the Holy Quran and its keenness to bid farewell to the pilgrims with the most glorious gifts, expressing the attention and care they have received from their arrival in Makkah until their departure. This embodies the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's mission to serve pilgrims and care for their affairs at the highest levels.
