Islamic Affairs Ministry Distributes Dates and Hosts Iftar in Croatia

Zagreb: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has carried out the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' initiatives to distribute dates and host iftar for fasting individuals in Croatia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, a communal iftar banquet took place at the Islamic Center in Zagreb, attended by Saudi Embassy representatives, including Naif Al-Saqabi, Grand Mufti of Croatia Dr. Aziz Hasanovic, and several other Islamic figures.

The iftar program benefited more than 600 people, and a total of 5 tons of dates were distributed, reaching nearly 20,000 individuals across different regions of Croatia, as part of the ministry's Ramadan initiatives beyond the Kingdom.

Dr. Aziz Hasanovic expressed his gratitude to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its leadership for their efforts in supporting Islam and Muslims globally, with particular appreciation for their contributions in Croatia. He also praised the ministry for its extensive programs and activities that benefit the Muslim community in the country.
