Baku: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance held a ceremony to implement the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' dates distribution program at the Kingdom's Embassy in Azerbaijan today. The event was attended by Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Azerbaijan Essam bin Saleh Al-Jutaili, along with a number of officials, Islamic figures, and members of the diplomatic corps.
According to Saudi Press Agency, as part of the program, the ministry delivered 5 tons of premium dates as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, benefiting more than 40,000 individuals.
On this occasion, Al-Jutaili stressed the Kingdom's commitment to addressing the needs of Muslims during Ramadan and easing the hardships of those in need.
