Islamic Affairs Ministry Conducts Over 2.9 Million Awareness Activities in 1446 AH

Riyadh: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance successfully implemented a total of 2,905,284 awareness and guidance activities throughout the Kingdom during the year 1446 AH. This initiative was carried out through the ministry's various branches, focusing on scholarly lessons, lectures, seminars, and training courses aimed at elevating community awareness.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry's annual statistics revealed that 524,007 awareness-raising and guidance speeches were delivered, while 85,001 scholarly lessons were conducted. These educational sessions covered a wide range of subjects, including Quranic interpretation, Hadith, jurisprudence, and doctrine. Additionally, the ministry held 77,745 public lectures tailored to reach different societal segments. Expert-led academic courses and seminars numbered 4,065 and 1,329, respectively. To further expand their reach, 183,291 educational messages and clips were shared via technology and communication platforms.

The ministry also emphasized correct doctrine, intellectual security, and proper etiquette through 35,995, 37,751, and 27,683 respective programs. Further engagement activities included 2,937 awareness meetings, 9,780 field trips, and 10,182 visits to government departments and official sectors.

Complementing these efforts, the ministry distributed 842,601 copies of the Holy Quran and 780,618 copies of scientific books and brochures. Additionally, 273,782 digital audio publications were made available through applications and platforms. Activities targeting youth amounted to 6,095, and 2,422 awareness and guidance competitions were organized across the Kingdom.
