Islamic Affairs Ministry Concludes National Quran Competition in Guinea, Honors 40 Winners

Madinah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance on Wednesday held the closing ceremony honoring the winners of the 44th National Competition for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran in the Republic of Guinea: The competition was organized by the General Secretariat for Religious Affairs in Guinea in cooperation with the ministry, with the participation of more than 4,000 male and female contestants from across the country.

According to Saudi Press Agency, at the conclusion of the ceremony, 40 male and female winners were honored, and commemorative photos were taken with contestants and officials, who expressed their satisfaction with the competition's success since its preliminary stages held in eight provinces across the country.

A total of 250 contestants competed in its eight categories, which began on February 25, 2026, affirming that the Kingdom's support contributed to strengthening Quranic culture and consolidating relations between the two countries.
