Islamic Affairs Ministry Announces Winners of Quran Competition for Balkan Countries

Riyadh: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance and General Supervisor of Local and International Quran Competitions Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh approved the names of the winners of the Fourth International Holy Quran Competition for the Balkan Countries, held in Skopje, North Macedonia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the competition attracted 200 male and female contestants from 29 countries. Out of these participants, 30 winners were selected across five categories. The minister emphasized the need to complete the organizational procedures for announcing the results and presenting the awards during the competition's closing ceremony.

The minister also praised the organizing and judging committees for their efforts in ensuring the competition's success and maintaining its Quranic and scholarly stature.
