Riyadh: Minister of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al Alsheikh and President of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Trkiye Dr. Ali Erbas have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) today, marking a significant step in bilateral cooperation in the field of Islamic affairs.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU focuses on fostering collaboration in promoting moderation and tolerance within Islam, as well as combating extremist ideologies and terrorism. This will be achieved through the exchange of information, expertise, and best practices between the two countries. The agreement also includes the organization of conferences, seminars, and meetings, along with coordinated participation in international forums related to Islamic affairs.
The signing of this agreement highlights the robust relationship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Trkiye, emphasizing their shared commitment to enhancing cooperation in various fields.
